Decs is the solution that CDL-Tecora offers for the continuous emission sampling of dioxins, furans (PCDD/PCDF), PCBs and other POPs. Dioxin measurement according to standard EN1948 and USEPA M23, DECS adopts the filter/condenser method with adsorbent trap to wet gas. DECS is Mcerts certified based on ”MCerts Performance standards and test procedures for automatic ISO kinetic samplers, EA, version 3 of September 2016 & EN 15267-1, EN15267-2 (QAL 1)”.

Tecora’s Dioxin sampling system is permanently installed on the chimney for continuous sampling from 6 hours to 6 weeks. The sampling unit is mounted on the sampling port of the chimney and its purpose is to collect the dioxin sample in its 2 phases (particles and gas) without changing its composition.
The Sampling Unit can be mounted outdoors and can be started at any time without lengthy preparation.

The Control Unit is the interface between the Dioxin sampling unit and the operator who leads all the system functions. It is generally placed in a safe area easily reachable. Realized in an industrial cabinet, it is connected to the sampling unit through electrical and pneumatic connections. Built-in measurement and control devices, useful to guarantee an automatic Dioxin measurement execution according to official methods.
